Who is this course suitable for?
Complete beginners, including makeup artists wanting to expand their services by offering bridal hairstyling. Across five days, we cover everything from fundamental hairstyling principles to perfecting key bridal looks, giving you the confidence to offer professional bridal hairstyling services.
What you can expect:
Days 1 & 2: Theory and demonstrations...
- Hair anatomy and prep: understand the structure of hair and essential preparation techniques.
- Key bridal hairstyling demos: live demonstrations of two popular bridal hairstyles on a model.
- Face framing and product use: explore face-framing options, hair hygiene practices, and the correct product usage for various hair types.
- Photography skills and marketing: hands-on photography practice. Capture your work and build a portfolio.
- Bridal consultation and trials: how to conduct consultations, manage expectations, and plan bridal hairstyles.
- Hair extension techniques: how to incorporate hair extensions for added length and volume.
Days 3 to 5: Practical sessions...
You'll work on a hairstyling training mannequin to practice the most popular bridal styles, including updos, half-up half-downs, textured waves, boho looks and sleek modern styles.
You'll also practice veil placement techniques, learning how to integrate veils into different styles.
On all of the days you'll practice photography too, creating images to help you market your new skills.
And on the final day you'll create two bridal looks, with the option of working on a professional model (for an additional cost - see below). This is a great opportunity to create even more eye-catching portfolio pieces.
At the end of the course, you’ll receive 2 months' complimentary membership to our Online Academy to continue your education and receive ongoing support.

We provide the mannequins required for the practical days, as well as an in-house hairstyling kit.
